The desk publishes every brief, every dossier, every guide and every newsroom item under a single editorial standard. The standard is published on the editorial review page and is enforced by the standards contact. The reader reads every surface under the same standard, and the reader is entitled to hold the desk to it via the contact page.
The publication contract has three rules. First, the desk never publishes invented live data, invented prize pools or invented roster moves. Second, the desk never paraphrases private scrim leaks as news. Third, the desk never endorses a promo claim that hides a canonical source, an 18+ marker or a jurisdiction framing.
The contract is editorial, not legal. The desk asks readers to treat the brief as a public record and the desk as a fellow professional. Anything less than a stand-alone correction when the desk is wrong fails the standard.
