Open qualifiers typically accept the top eight to twelve teams into the next stage. The exact threshold is published on the organizer's format page; the desk does not improvise. Group stage advancement is decided by either swiss rounds (top eight by record after three rounds) or by GSL group (top two from each group). Bracket reseeding happens at the group stage to playoff transition, not before.
Last-chance qualifiers usually run the day before the grand final and award a single slot. Direct invites are reserved for circuit point leaders and partner organizations; the desk does not predict which organizations will receive them and does not retroactively invent invites after the fact.
The cleanest way to follow a qualification path is to bookmark the organizer feed, ignore any third-party "live tracker" that does not show its source, and check the format PDF before each stage.
